Created in 1968, EISMV is a veterinary faculty for all French-speaking African states. It has a dual vocation of teaching and research in veterinary medicine in Africa. The establishment with a pan-African vocation is integrated into the UCAD University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar.
It covers 20 African countries including 14 Member States (Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Chad, Togo) and has already trained more than 1,500 students .
